La rivista giapponese Famitsu ha celebrato i suoi 30 anni chiedendo ai lettori di votare i giochi più memorabili per ciascuna console, partendo dal NES fino alla PS4.
Famitsu ha ricevuto 2,921 schede in totale, le regole per chi ha votato erano di scegliere un gioco per ciascuna piattaforma.
La votazione riguardava solo le console, sono state escluse le piattaforme smartphone, PC e gli arcade, mentre c’era una sezione miscellanea dedicata a console come Game Gear e Neo Geo che che però non sono state incluse nelle classifiche finali.
