Tempo di bilanci per il publisher Deep Silver e Shenmue 3.
Secondo i risultati finanziari pubblicati oggi da “Embracer Group” (proprietaria di Koch Media e quindi di Deep Silver) e riguardanti il Q3 (da Ottobre 2019 a Dicembre 2019) , Shenmue 3 sembrerebbe aver soddisfatto le aspettative della compagnia.
Nel report si legge che il settore dei giochi di cui fanno parte Deep Silver e THQ Nordic, ha visto un +51% nelle entrate, merito sia dei titoli di catalogo e che delle nuove uscite come Darksiders Genesis e Shenmue 3.
Le performance delle nuove uscite sono in linea con le aspettative della casa. Il report continua sottolineando che “Shenmue 3 è stato la principale fonte di entrate di Deep Silver nel trimestre, seguito da Let’s Sing 2020.”

Risultati positivi per Shenmue 3, tuttavia non sono stati divulgati ulteriori dati di vendita riguardo il numero di copie vendute.

Our Games business area with Deep Silver, THQ Nordic and Coffee Stain grew revenue by 51%, generating net sales of 836 million (552) in the quarter.
Key drivers behind this top line performance was the stable backcatalog sales from titles such as Metro Exodus, Wreckfest and Satisfactory, as well as a the new releases Darksiders Genesis and Shenmue III.

New releases performed in line with management expectations in the quarter. The performance of back catalog sales was strong during the quarter, both digitally and physically and exceeded management expectations in the quarter. Shenmue III was the principal Deep Silver revenue driver in the quarter, followed by another new release of Let’s Sing 2020.
Moreover, Metro Exodus continued to give a significant contribution to Deep Silver’s revenue in the quarter, as well as other notable back catalog titles such as Kingdom Come Deliverance and Outward.
