Sega ha aperto un nuovo sito per celebrare i 60 anni della compagnia. Sul sito è possibile trovare una pagina dedicata alla storia di Sega ed un messaggio speciale dal presidente Haruki Satomi. Inoltre sono previste diverse iniziative per il futuro.
Sega ha inoltre presentato un nuovo personaggio, Sega Shiro, l’ambasciatore per i 60 anni dell’azienda e successore di Segata Sanshiro.
Sega Shiro è interpretato da Maito Fujioka, il figlio di Hiroshi Fujioka, l’unico e inimitabile Segata Sanshiro.
