Nuovo personaggio per Sonic & All-stars Racing Transformed su PC

Sega non sembra voler abbandonare Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, infatti la versione PC del gioco ha ricevuto una nuova patch che oltre alle solite migliorie e bugfix aggiunge un nuovo personaggio giocabile, General Winter, direttamente da Company of Heroes 2.
Nonostante il personaggio in questione sia disponibile gratuitamente, i fan non sembrano aver apprezzato molto la cosa, costringendo il producer del gioco Steve Lycett ad intervenire sulla questione:
no-one has said we’re done with the game. We’ve not forgot about the poll either. It’s not up to us who we add to the game[…]
It’s been huge fun working with Relic though and we’ve made sure that this character got all the same care and attention as any of the others. He is a SEGA character too, after all Company of Heroes is a SEGA game […]
I’ll leave you with one interesting tidbit. This isn’t the character I mentioned we’d got approval on either, that was definitely one of the poll topping ones.
Sembrerebbe quindi che General Winter non sarà l’ultimo personaggio del gioco e che ci siano buone probabilità di vedere almeno uno dei personaggi vincitori del sondaggio (Ryo Hazuki, Hatsune Miku, Segata Sanshiro, Vectorman, Bayonetta nei primi cinque posti) arrivare in forma di DLC.
