Questa volta viene mostrato Metro City, circuito cittadino inedito con qualche rimando ai vecchi Daytona.
Daytona Championship USA offre i tre ciruiti dell’arcade originale del 1993 più tre circuiti inediti, oltre a nuove auto e modalità.

Daytona Championship USA: il video del Dinosaur Canyon
Sega Amusement ha pubblicato un nuovo video di Daytona Chamionship USA, il terzo capitolo del famosissimo racing Sega, dove viene mostrato il rifacimento del Dinosaur Canyon, uno dei tre circuiti presenti nel primo Daytona USA.
Insieme ai tre circuiti originali, Daytona Championship USA offrirà tre circuiti inediti insieme a nuove auto e modalità.
L’uscita di Daytona Championship USA è prevista a breve nelle sale giochi.

Daytona Championship USA: il video della Three Seven Speedway
In occasione della fiera arcade EAG Expo 2017 di Londra, Sega Amusement ha pubblicato un nuovo trailer di Daytona 3 Championship USA (ora chiamato semplicemente Daytona Championship USA) che ci mostra il nuovo look del Three Seven Speedway, sicuramente il circuito più iconico del gioco originale anche grazie alla cellebre “curva di Sonic” ed alle musiche di Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (entrambi presenti anche in questa rivisitazione).
Daytona Championship USA offrirà tre nuovi circuiti (compresa una riproduzione del Daytona International Speedway) insieme ai tre circuiti originali.
L’uscita è prevista durante l’anno nelle sale giochi.

Svelato il primo teaser trailer di Daytona 3 Championship USA
Con l’inizio della fiera arcade IAAPA 2016, Sega Amusement ha pubblicato il primo teaser trailer di Daytona 3 Championship USA, il nuovo capitolo del leggendario racing game di AM2 che ha rivoluzionato i giochi di guida.
A giudicare dal breve video che mostra il rifacimento della Three Seven Speedway ed un nuovo circuito di sera, sembra che sia stato adottato uno stile grafico che richiama gli anni ’90 (come è giusto che sia) che punta ad avere colori molto saturi con grafica nitida e fluida.
Da notare anche il ritorno di Takenobu Mitsuyoshi con un nuovo arrangiamento di “Let’s Go Away”, simbolo dell’originale Daytona USA classe 1993.
Daytona 3 Championship USA dovrebbe essere disponibile nelle sale giochi nella Primavera 2017.

Sega annuncia Daytona 3 Championship USA per le sale giochi
Attraverso un comunicato stampa Sega Amusement ha annunciato Daytona 3 Championship USA per le sale giochi.
Secondo il webmaster del sito Arcade Heroes, in precedenza il gioco era stato mostrato a Chicago col nome di Daytona Reloaded, ma evidentemente il nome è stato cambiato per evidenziare il fatto che siamo di fronte ad un vero sequel e non un semplice remake in HD come era Sega Racing Classic.
Daytona 3 offrirà infatti tre nuovi circuiti (compreso una riproduzione dell’attuale Daytona International Speedway) oltre ai tre circuiti classici rimasterizzati, nuove auto e modalità, un cabinato con monitor da 47″ più un secondo monitor da 27″ per gli spettatori, possibilità di linkare 8 cabinati e “party mode”.
Daytona 3 è previsto solo per le sale giochi e sarà mostrato tra due settimane al IAAPA 2016, fiera che si terrà negli Stati Uniti ad Orlando (FL).

Daytona – The True Legend Is Back
You read that right, Daytona is back and just as it was first time around in the 90s, it’s set to be a game changer. Daytona USA is the pinnacle of arcade racing and now Sega is ready to bring its #1 racer screeching into the 21st century!
It revolutionised the arcade scene when it was first launched in 1994, and this franchise can deservedly lay claim to bold statements such as iconic, classic and legendary.
This brand new version, Daytona 3 Championship USA, features three brand new tracks including a recreation of the newly renovated Daytona International Speedway. In addition, the original three classic courses have been remastered for the modern era. New cars and new game modes bring more for players old and new to experience.
Sega has gone all out on a cabinet design to do this global brand justice and make it stand out from the pack. The cabinet with 47” LED monitor is linkable for up to eight players and lit from top to bottom. It even has a moulded under seat engine! New game features include a live in-game camera system so you can enjoy maximum bragging rights as you overtake your friends! Also brand new to Daytona 3 is the ‘Live TV’ inspired spectator video billboard marquee with 27” display. This allows spectators to see what’s happening in the race, whether it’s a crash, a pass for position or to find out who’s winning or losing!
“This is a game changer. This is a premium game that delivers on quality, player experience and operator features that sets a very high bar for arcade video racing games. Importantly we have based it on the original game engine that gave us the amazing ‘AI’ and ‘catch up’ feeling that we all grew to love” commented Patrick Michael, Head of Local R&D.
The game also has an all-new party mode allowing operators to run special events easily. In addition, to assist engineers, there is the introduction of ‘Sega-IQ Intelligent Service Menus’; these are designed to offer prompts and troubleshooting advice when the onsite technician is maintaining the game.

Meatbun ha aggiunto al proprio catalogo alcune nuove t-shirt ispirate al mondo Sega, con alcuni cameo e mix di diversi franchise niente male. Le tre nuove tshirt sono dedicate ad OutRun, Daytona e Shinobi ma non mancano altri riferimenti:
La prima t-shirt “Passing Breeze” è chiaramente ispirata ad OutRun, non c’è bisogno di presentazioni:
